Four Officers to receive Lifesaving Award at tonight's City Council meeting.

Law Enforcement Officers are highly trained professionals and skilled in rendering first aid. To be
successful they must be capable of quickly discerning considerable information from multiple inputs,
apply intelligence and intuition, have the courage to do what needs to be done, and to do so safely.
The Fife Police Department's Lifesaving Award is recognition of Officers who through their quick action and sound judgment has resulted in a life being saved. Four Fife Officers have earned this prestigious award so far this year.
As a result of a life saving incident on March 31, 2012 Officers Al Morales, Jake Stringfellow and Pat Gilbert will be the recipients of the department's Lifesaving Award. Also, as a result of a life saving incident on April 9, 2012 Lt. Dave Woods will be receiving the department's Lifesaving Award. Please join us in honoring these four Officers.
