National Police Week Day 2 - Honor Guard Day

We have dedicated today as Honor Guard Day. The Metro Pierce Honor Guard consists of 17 members from neighboring departments with 5 of those members from Fife Police Department. Fife PD is represented by Corrections Sergeant Hill, Corrections Officer Champion, Patrol Officer Wyrwitzke, School Resource Officer Schwan and Patrol Lieutenant Gardner who is the teams bag piper. The Honor Guard serves the community not just at funerals or memorials for the fallen, but also at dedications, parades, assemblies and graduations to name a few.
