Alleged violence in vehicle
At approximately 11:20 am officers responded to a report of a male and female physically fighting in a vehicle. The witness called in the incident from the intersection of Pacific Hwy E and Port of Tacoma Rd. The vehicle then entered the freeway onramp and officers were able to locate and stop the vehicle at mile post 132 on SB I-5. The male driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving with a suspended license and now faces pending charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance when methamphetamine was found in his pocket. The female suspect reported a false name to officers and upon discovery of her real identity was arrested for a felony warrant out of Tacoma. Both parties claim the argument was only verbal.
